Then travel through a scenic route in South Africa connecting several cultural and natural points of interest, before experiencing Cape Town's top highlights - sea adventures, penguins, history and the Winelands (optional) - including a trip up Table Mountain.

Day 1
Masai Mara (Kenya)
On arrival, you will be picked up by your dedicated safari guide from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transfer to the Masai Mara by road in a comfortable safari land cruiser, travelling via the tarmacked Ngong road. Approximately 45 minutes into the trip, you will reach the Rift Valley Viewpoint for a majestic view and photographs, before continuing to Narok town for any last-minute shopping and on to the Mara. Your guide will drop you at camp to enjoy the rest of your day.

Day 2
Masai Mara Game Drive
After breakfast you will have an early morning game drive and enjoy one of the greatest wildlife spectacles on earth - a million wildebeest moving as one extended carpet of biomass, a quarter of a million zebra, thousands of Thomson's gazelle, elephants moving through the throng, and attending predators watching from the surrounding termite mounds. Enjoy your packed lunch amid the breathtaking grasslands and acacia woodlands of the Central Plains, then continue with an afternoon game drive. Return to camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3
Masai Mara Full-Day Game Drive
Enjoy breakfast before setting out for a full day of game drives, looking for the animals you may have missed the previous day. Head back to camp for an optional bush dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4
Masai Mara to Johannesburg
Have an early breakfast and check out of camp, rounding off the Masai Mara tour with one last morning game drive. Head to a Masai village afterwards to experience the Masai people's rich cultural heritage and take part in some cultural activities, before your flight to OR Tambo International Airport, South Africa. On arrival you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 5
Johannesburg to Garden Route
Morning flight to Port Elizabeth. Our journey continues over the scenic Outeniqua Pass to George, and then on to Knysna, known as the oyster capital of South Africa. Overnight in Knysna.

Day 6
Knysna and Oudtshoorn
After breakfast, take a tour of the spectacular limestone caverns of the Cango Caves. Return to Oudtshoorn for a tour and light lunch at an ostrich farm.

Day 7
Knysna
Enjoy a lagoon cruise to the Featherbed Nature Reserve, where you can take a trailer ride to the top of the Western Head for panoramic views of the town and lagoon, returning for lunch under the milkwood trees. The afternoon is at leisure to further explore this charming town, set around a natural harbour lagoon. Overnight in Knysna.

Day 8
George to Cape Town
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to George Airport to board a flight to Cape Town.

Day 9
Cape Town
On arrival in Cape Town, you'll be met and transferred to your hotel. Travel by cable car to the top of Table Mountain (excludes cableway ticket fee), then descend and pass through the Malay Quarter, city centre and Company Gardens. Visit the Castle of Good Hope and Diamond Works. Travel to the Milnerton area and photograph Table Mountain from across Table Bay (time permitting).

Day 10
Cape Town to Cape Peninsula Tour
Today is for fun and adventure - proceed on a full day guided Cape Peninsula tour and experience some of the most spectacular views in the world. The tour begins with a scenic drive along the Atlantic coast passing through the fishing village of Hout Bay, with the option of a short boat trip to Duiker Island to view the Cape fur seals. The tour then heads along Chapman's Peak Drive on to Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. From there we travel to False Bay and return to Cape Town by way of the Simon's Town naval base, where we visit the penguin colony at Boulders Beach, then via Fish Hoek fishing village and Muizenberg to Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens for a short walking tour.

Cape Town to Cape Town International Airport
